About Dr. Ko

Dr. Michael Ko is dual board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.  He completed his Pain Management fellowship at the Manhattan Center for Pain Management at Mount Sinai West Hospital (formerly St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center) in New York City, one of the premier centers in the country at the time.  He specializes in minimally invasive interventional techniques to treat a wide spectrum of both acute and chronic pain conditions.  He believes in a comprehensive and multimodal approach to treat pain, with an emphasis on nonopioid medications, physical therapy, acupuncture and various other treatment modalities.

Dr. Ko is fluent in both English and Korean, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.  

Being born in Korea and raised in Manhattan, he continuously strives to provide the utmost level of care for his fellow New Yorkers, including the Korean/Asian community.  Having grown up in New York City and attending its public schools, including the prestigious Stuyvesant High School, New York City is his hometown and will always have a special place in his heart.
